is it still bad to pirate music if you bought the tape once?

While I was sick, I went and downloaded a bunch of songs that I liked when I was a teenager. Listening to them was like eating a crapload of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream—you really shouldn't do it all too often, but there's nothing like it if you're depressed and need to cheer yourself up a bit. I was surprised how much I still liked. I was a goth and everything, but now that I think about it, I had pretty good taste in music, considering. I have better taste now, but that's because I have internet access.

It's unfortunate, though; I have Tanith & the Lion Tree by Edward Ka-Spel on a now severely degraded tape, and I think I'd probably still like half the songs on it. Now I can't even find a place to buy it online.
