Epic Roadtrip 2010 Begins!
I'm in Kingston at K.'s tonight, hence internets access! Who wants to see photos?

Me,
culpster, and
monster_grrrl.
Our first stop was the Big Apple, seen in the photo above. It is mainly known for pie and aggressive rabbits. It also boasts an arcade, mini-putt, and an extraordinary collection of terrible kitsch.

They had a very small and sad petting zoo with two sheep and a llama.

Wait, what?

WAIT, WHAT?
We were too stunned and horrified by the fact that a) someone thought of this, b) someone made it, and c) someone figured that there would be enough interest to sell this, so we didn't immediately buy a bunch of them for the lulz. We regretted it and there were GILF jokes the entire rest of the day.

Oh
sabotabby, must you always be so literal?

I am the luckiest bitch you know.

We took the ferry across to Picton, stopping for ice cream at Scooperman, a comic-book-themed ice cream shop. Then on to Sandbanks, where there was a beach and this impressive sand-crocodile.

And a swan!

We went swimming in the lake and walked along the dunes.

Picton needs no church.

Experiments at shooting neon.
We attempted to watch the Perseids, but they were not cooperative.
Tomorrow: Lots o' driving.
