That's funny - as I have the horror of death/mortality but with skeletons and zombies. Snowmen don't bother me unless they are mine, in which case I am very upset when they melt. I once made a snow baby alien and cried for days when it melted/died a slow and agonising death. Its demise symbolised all the loss and bereavement and dashed hopes in my life. I was a complete wreck drunk on mulled wine and sobbing in the snow.
