Commencing Operation Paint All the Things

I have acquired ridiculous amounts of teal paint for nefarious purposes.

By nefarious purposes, I mean painting furniture to match my hair.

Yes, I am punk rock Martha Stewart, why do you ask?

Mmmm, pretty. I painted a couple of bookcases teal at one point, which was so they matched.

Yeah, basically my first idea was that I would keep all of my bookshelves for now, save up, and buy matching ones.

Then I read that you could paint laminate. And this might be an even better solution, because I don't like having things completely match, and I know if I ever found matching bookshelves they'd be the type where you can't adjust the height to fit art books. Or super-expensive, one of the two.
