My objection to there being all three wasn't so much that they were somehow incompatible as that it's unlikely a *Russian* Jew would know Hebrew. It's still pretty much unknown in Russia, AFAIK. Though given that the character is a rabbi, I'll let him get away with it.

We're in agreement on the whole kashrut thing. I was just trying to come up with some possible justification :)
