Sadly when I rewatched season 4 again I couldn't get over the cheesy-as-hell dialogue. I think that happens with plot heavy shows like this in which the love and affection I feel for all the plot twists is mitigated by the fact that a second or third viewing means that I know they are all coming so I have to pay attention to dialogue, character, etc.

Angel season 4 was a letdown as well.
