Sometimes I feel like making really shallow and embarrassing posts -- shallower and more embarrassing than normal, that is. I suppose things have been a bit intense lately. But you know those days when you want to do very annoying things on your journal like post 5000 gratuitous cat pictures or talk about your crush or redo your layout so that it's more pink or do a quiz that tells you how emo you are or randomly post Ani DiFranco lyrics* ("Gravel," if you're wondering)?

I'm having one of those days. An evening of shameless indulgence, if you will. So go ahead -- post anything in the comments. Song lyrics, memes, cat photos, anonymous confessions of lust in faux-chatspeak, etc. Consider this an open invitation to post in my journal anything that places you on the lower levels of the blogger hierarchy.

* I don't even like Ani DiFranco very much. I like that song, though. I was bopping around the apartment singing it last night for some reason.

i remember i took this girl off my friendslist once [oh! e-drama!] & she had a hissyfit in an entry's comments about how she didn't want to hear about/see pictures of my cats anymore because she didn't care, anyway.

the thing was was that i posted about my cats very infrequently...only when they do something particularly strange...oh & there was that one time i needed medical advice when one cat bit the other one & took out a chunk of her fur + some skin. at that time, i was all about blogging about my job, choice & abortion, gay marriage, idiots in my classes & the war on iraq.

funnily enough, that's the second time there was e-drama surrounding my cats. the first time was when i moved out of 1202 davenport because of my insane exroommate. after i moved out, one cat [who was a kitten at the time...oh & i didn't have the other one at the time] came down with some weird illness that wasn't quite unlike distemper. her livejournal friends felt the need to gang up on me about it as they perceived that i blamed crazy ex-roommate for her being sick [she has two cats too].

that was fun times. ha. to this day, i'm known as "psycopants" to those folk, despite the fact that all i did was move out as i couldn't deal with all the nastiness & the negativity in a so-called "feminist space" of a house. i still have no idea as to why i'm apparently psycho.

oh! e-drama.

& i can't believe i just posted about that in your journal. yet, here i go, posting the comment now.
