He was my favourite character back in the day, and I hated what they did with him in this series. Like, he was supposed to be some bureaucrat who did terrible things because it was his job, not Snidley Whiplash. Actual motivations: too much to ask for? Apparently. Also remembering that Mulder is his son would have been a good idea to tone down some of the, uh, flirtiness that his character displayed in the last two episodes and made me very uncomfortable.
P.S. I've been binge-watching Orphan Black in my downtime the past week and a half in preparation for Series 4. Halfway three Se03Ep03, I'm shaking my head in cautious optimism. Dare we hope the writers actually know where this fucking thing is going?
