I want everyone to post something in the comments that makes you happy or that you think will make someone else happy.

Well, there's [livejournal.com profile] seanmonster's posting Coyote's Commandments, but you probably already saw that. Listening to the Art of Noise's version of "the Peter Gunn Theme" has also been doing it for me recently.

I loved the new editor's notations and I will watch for them. Chapter Three will be complete in a week. I am currently in giddy, super-genius mode and totally enamored with everything I have typed in the last 48 hours. Part of this may also be my being punchy from sleep deprivation. I wish I could always feel like this. [*bounce*]

Oh! this should cheer you: Here at work we had these old, 1950s double-sided clocks that stood out from the wall or hung down from the ceiling. They stopped working ages ago and we finally got the replaced, which means I have found art to play with. I initially considered filling them with water and goldfish, but on second consideration I quickly realized that they aren't the least bit water tight. Then I considered building a diorama inside them or something. They are actually too heavy for me to do anything with, so I reconsidered the one-sided wall clock by the same manufacturer (also broken and replaced). It's sufficiently lightweight and its convex glass would make a great picture frame. Then I thought, "Hey, I can put by 1984 George W Bush icon in there." I could even back light it to make it look more like a monitor. Maybe add an old, broken camera lens to the mounting, etc. ...
