dissectionist: A digital artwork of a biomechanical horse, head and shoulder only. It’s done in shades of grey and black and there are alien-like spines and rib-like structures over its body. (Default)

To be fair, Canada was already a world leader in science. We do a whole lot of amazing stuff here research-wise. But we can definitely go even further by giving a home to USians who have been prevented from doing research in the US, and it isn’t difficult to set up labs, especially since so many labs are “dry labs” like mine: completely analysis-based with no animal/cell experiments. That means there’s no need for the equipment or biohazard certifications needed for those kinds of “wet” experiments. Any room with decent computers and good Internet can be a dry lab.
