The problem is that in order to make a Pol Pot analogy, someone has to have the equivalent of scads of Cambodian skulls lying around. Which most people don't.

That didn't stop some very strange individuals for making Pol Pot–ARA comparisons, but it had to do with the anarcho-syndicalist flag more than anything else.
