What worries me is the whole frog-in-boiling-water aspect. I mean, Nixon was bad, but people protested en masse. Bush could get away with eating live kittens on camera, the media would spin it, and a few bloggers would go "OH THAT'S SAD POOR KITTUMZ."

It's not that he's worse, it's just that collectively everyone has their heads up their asses when it comes to doing something about his awfulness.
