It's only gotten worse since I've started to become a teacher. The only shows that teachers watch are the ones you listed, and maybe Mythbusters. Hardly anyone watches any sci-fi at all. (But some of my kids like Buffy, yay!)

And music! If it's not classic rock, they're not listening to it. Some of the younger student teachers like Radiohead, I think. Maybe two in total have interesting taste in music.

No one will talk about Walter Benjamin with me. And what, Berger wrote short stories? Where?!
