I was excited about the Watchmen movie until I found out that Zack (300) Snyder is directing. ARGH. Still, I like the cast, and I've heard 300 actually was a pretty faithful adaptation (dutifully rendering all the racism, sexism and homophobia puked out by Frank Miller's crazy, crazy brain - makes sense!) so maybe it'll be OK after all.
