Oh yes, and any suggestions of where I can crosspost this without being accused of spamming? So far it'll be on E-Left, Revolutionary Left (hahahaha!), and in NOW Magazine. There is a Toronto activist LJ community, but it seems to be small and inactive.

The Unpopular Front fundraising concert/bakesale got cancelled, though. I am irked, as I was rather looking forward to baking bonehead cookies.

I'm tired, in general.

you could bake them anyway!

we could eat them of a knitting night, dunking them, bathing their tasty stubbly heads in the tea of diversity and tolerance (or, pardon me, acceptance).

So you decided to go with Wobblies after all. Did you dislike 9 to 5?

I'm tired, in general.

Read some comics.

Oh, and while we are on the subject, some warnings. The Cowboy Wally Show is Baker's first solo effort and the beginning is kind of plot-less and wandering, so if it starts to drag (and it shouldn't), skip ahead to the "Sands of Blood" chapter, which actually begins a few pages before the splash page. Also, his collaboration with Aaron McGruder does knowingly play with Arab stereotypes to fuck with the audience, but see it through.

Oh I'm much too cool now. Went to the Scottish Socialist conference to work at a stall, and bought a beautiful I.W.W. tee shirt in red. But my hubby wants one in black and they only had a small which wouldn't fit his left tit. These came from the US, so I was wondering if you know where I can find them in Canada even? Its just a plain tee shirt with the cat with 'the working class and the employing class have nothing in common' at the bottom. Thank you kindly.

I really like the design of that flyer. Do you know what the image is from? I'm wondering if it's supposed to be of Ben Fletcher and Philadelphia Dockworkers around 1920.

What was the name of your (freelancers'?) union again? I'm writing a screenplay. Of course, it's going to be Wobbly-hating and kitten-cruillers-eating and stuff.
