'tis fantastic news! And despite being a military op, they seem to have managed to do it without actually shooting anyone.

Pretty dumb hostage takers, leaving them in a room unguarded. :)

I suspect some sort of negotiations were involved, and that's why the hostage-takers weren't there.

Yeah...I woke up this morning to the news—it was CBC's top story. I would have woken you, but decided you'd hear when you woke, all on your own. So I went about quietly happy instead.
