The federal government won't be making any announcements on the future of Vancouver's safe-injection site or AIDS funding this week because the issue is "too politicized."
Oh, I'm sorry. The fact that AIDS is decimating an entire fucking continent is too political for Harper. KS lesions and pneumonia are too political. That Canada reneged on its promise to send generic drugs to the Third World is too political. 40.3 million people worldwide are living with AIDS but let's not do anything about that because it's too political.
My suggestion is that we make it a bit more political by turfing this douchebag of a chimprime minister from office. He deserves worse, but I wouldn't wish AIDS on anyone.

Twat asshole. Are there plans for action against this decision?
Even Roy Cohn.

Tony Kushner made me feel a twinge of sympathy for Roy Cohn, dammit.

I thought Angels in America was one of the best programmes I've ever watched.I don't see things until they come out on DVD years after, and people had been talking about it so I rented it, not knowing what it was and _wow_. Al Pacino's portrayal of Cohn was so on.

I loved Angels. I've watched it a few times, and there are parts that seem unintentionally cheesy now—unnecessary stock footage and special effects, mostly—but overall it's awesome.

You could move to Cuba. They have no employment problem.

My suspicion is that the unemployed are lazy welfare bums taking advantage of the common weal.
More seriously, I just assumed that most of everyone was put to work one way or another:
"We got no money for this project."
"Let's just get people to dig up this canal with shovels while we figure out what to do with the water."
Back to seriousness, Cuba's biomedical industry and organic farming techniques are impressive.

They want Africa to die so they can take the resources more easily.

If only we could figure out what that meant.
