The next Toronto Small Press Book Fair will be held at the Miles Nadal JCC. Will the wearing of a keffiyeh prevent me from actually penetrating the premises? Or should I not be antagonistic?
I'm being partly hypocritical here because just as I'm trying to convince myself to start swimming, the TDSB is planning to close tons of pools and the JCC might be my only swimming option in the neighbourhood. Sigh.

It was a few years ago, but my friend used to work out in a keffiyeh (why? I don't know) all the time there. He got some odd looks, but that was it. Of course, that's before they went and got security guards.

I don't know what's getting closed, but B&Christie would be close enough. I haven't looked that closely around yet...
If I get a keffiyeh in time, without feeling like a stereotype, maybe I'll sport it once I'm inside.
