Also OMG, did you see that whole "free speech" argument on Twitter where some asshole was like "homophobic slurs are worth it if people feel free to come up with awesome new physics" or something stupid like that, only stupider, and Anil Dash schooled him but good.

I did not. I try to avoid free speech arguments on Twitter to retain the one shred of sanity I have remaining.
