Yeah, wait til the weekend.

I seldom drink on weeknights anyway.

Well, damn. In order to keep the universe in balance, I suppose that I, out of selfless duty, must go out and have a Guinness.

Drink one for me!

I did - and it was even better, because the waitress bought it.

... and she wants to go out with me for rum milkshakes.

I didn't drink for two months while in a medical study. I have been drunk since but only once -- despite several opportunities, I haven't felt like taking advantage of my regained freedom to drink.

On the other hand, I took up rampant coffee abuse during those two months...

My coffee abuse has increased sharply this month. I'm sure it's not a coincidence.
