Snakes On a Plane...

...is every bit as awesome as you thought it would be.

And by awesome, I mean awful. Ed Wood awful. There needs to be a drinking game. I need to see it a bazillion times. There was one scene I could have done without (I bet you can guess which one it is, and it's in the trailer so it isn't even a spoiler) but otherwise it was completely cracktastic. The best part is that Samuel L. Jackson is actually acting. It's like watching one human actor playing against a bunch of muppets.

Plus, snake-o-vision.

This will be my only post on the matter, but feel free to discuss to your heart's content.

EDIT: Go forth and reade this: Serpentes on a Shippe! (spoylerez) at Geoffrey Chaucer Hath a Blog.
Then ther was a crashinge grete and terribil, and the sound of the sayles droppinge on to the decke. In the winde the ship did founder. Vp staires, Sir Sean did checke wyth the mariners and finde hem all y-slawe by the snakes, and the snakes had occupyed the wheel of the shippe and the mappe of navigacioun. And Sir Sean cam doun and toold Sir Neville and Sir Neville was passinge wroth and seyde, ‘That ys ynogh. I haue hadde it wyth thes cursed by Seynt George snakes on this cursed by Seynt George shippe!’

I know which scene you're talking about, where the cat in the carrier gets attacked.

The next version should be "Cats on a Plane", where no one can get up because they all have a sleeping cat in their lap.

"I can't move. I'll wake the kitty!"

Were you visited by this guy (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/aerope4/kitty-assrape-snakes.gif) in your dreams or did you really want to see this movie?

Also, do you think this meme (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/aerope4/snakes.gif) is about to jump the shark now after this?

I don't get it. It seems way nerdy. Will anyone remember anything about it a year from now, aside from the media hype?

We were the rowdy crowd in the (curiously not-so-packed) theatre.

We even started making up calls! The people in front of us loved it.

When the timer counted down, we led the theatre in chanting "THREE! TWO! ONE! SNAKES!!!!"

Go Scholck Go!
