These are apparently the safest and most comfortable collars. Marinetti's is really dangly, though, and barely visible due to a combination of scrawny and fluffy. Should I trim the end?
They're breakaway collars. They also have elastic in them, so they can stretch considerably.
Marinetti's chipped; I'm not sure about Cocoa. I *cough* *shame* *cough* haven't taken her to the vet's because her previous owner took her in November, and I've been pretty wrapped up in Marinetti's myriad health problems. But I plan to take her soon and get her chipped if she's not already (she probably is; I think they either got her from a breeder or a pet store).
