The homosexual Maoist agenda! (Hat tip: [livejournal.com profile] nihilistic_kid.)
Ted Nugent Quote of the Day:
People, especially kids, are like mules sometimes. A gentle stroke of the mane, some sugar, and sweet talk can get them into position on occasion, but sometimes ya just gotta whack 'em upside the head with an oil-soaked two-by-four.
*blink*

What?!
So to speak.
Oh ok.

My first thought upon clicking the maoist homos link... "Oh noes! Why is the CBC posting this?"

Then it loaded, whew.

that's it. I'm convinced that there's a homosexual agenda now. The most surprising thing about that article to me was the very end of it: it says that the average american watches over 7 hours of TV daily. Sheee-it.

Benjamin Bull of the Alliance Defense Fund said, "Suddenly those who choose homosexual behavior...sodomy...are victims. It's crazy!"

i swear it's the sole idea of SODOMY that makes homophobes froth at the mouth.

i also like the sinister plot of debuting the film in blue state cities. apparently most any film that has a limited opening is pushing the homosexual agenda. either that or these people make no sense.

"It is very, very propagandistic, because the entire purpose of the movie is to make homosexuality seem like something good and appealing, and to make people who are opposed to homosexuality bigots and homophobes..."

Well, I wouldn't say it was the -entire- purpose. But it helps. :-D

As for the Nugent quote, of course he's an ass. However, he says this because he's an American and that's what he's used to, and it's how Americans have been trained to be.

Take my fucking students, for example. I admit his comment appeals to me in that regard, powerfully. However they would simply remain a colossal mass of poorly trained mules.

This is what Nugent can't grasp, because he doesn't value real intellectuality (because he's an American, and Americans have always been anti-intellectual, from the get-go at Plymouth fucking Rock): Americans are stupid motherfuckers because they don't want to think. Like him.

Something else fun: the author tries to subtly (or not) link blue states with homosexuality. Democrat=gay. Nothing new of course. "opening it up in just five Blue State cities where there were large, built-in gay audiences"
That sentence sent chills up my spine.

Ted Nugent is my new favourite philosopher. We have a copy of his Kill It, Then Grill It on our bookshelf. Not my purchase, it was here when we moved in...
