thank you for posting this, Right now my grandma is in a nursing home (getting rehab, some, so we hope to have her home again soon) and it is true, what Jennifer Ng writes: is this really the world the generations before us have worked to create? I've thought about it quite a bit lately, and there Must be better ways, more equitable, less racist, ways of caring for the elderly. Theirs is among the fastest growing demographic. If something doesn't change, our society is going to have a lot more miserable people in it, with much less recourse to do anything about it.
