I resent Boomers as a group, though not individually. I mean, shit-tons of my friends are Boomers. (Shit-tons of my friends are Millennials, too, and I don't see a vast generational gap. I do with my kids, but I probably won't in a few years.)
What bothers me is being labelled the Generation of Suck With Nothing to Offer, and you are 100% right about the distressed type.
