I only ever watched half an episode of Seinfeld and thought it was about the worst thing ever. But that's how I feel about most comedy.
BrBa works for me, I think, because the main character's descent into irredeemability is gradual, if inevitable, and because the supporting characters really are sympathetic. But I see how people can't get into it.
