Oh, I adored Crusade (Galen! :D) but maaaaan, what the network did to it...

The first episodes are all fucked up because they shot the first few episodes, brought them to the network, and the network went, "What? This stuff ia all far too subtle for our audience! Also those uniforms suck. Change them. Also our main demographic is wrestling fans so make a new pilot and first few episodes with a new opening scene with a fight so anyone wanderingpast stays tuned."

And so they did, which is why the very first shot of the "official" pilot is some guy getting punched in the face, and then after they ran the new replacement pilot and first few episodes, they changed uniforms and suddenly spouted a bunch of expositional stuff we already knew; that was the original pilot and first few episodes. And then they went back to the other uniforms when they continued making episodes, or were going to (I don't remember now if they ever had a chance to do so or not), and then the rug was pulled right out from under them. >< And the worst part of that is they were cancelled after all the stations had their new seasons set, which means that no one else had any budget left to pick them up. Apparently Space, the scifi channel here in Canada, juggled numbers for two weeks straight trying to find a way they could take over Crusade, and just couldn't make it work because of how late TSN cancelled it. Bah. It's a double shame because it was a perfect fit for Crusade.

I adored that there's porn in the B5 universe. XD "Snow White and the Seven Narns", "Who's Your Little Pak'mor'a"... hahaha. Max needs to learn to wipe his data crystals before he files his reports... XD
