I typically don't care about the moral purity of the media I consume, and nitpick even things that I think are amazing, but when an author goes to as great lengths as OSC does to shove his abhorrent opinions in my face, well, I will care more as a result. (And, well, I'm more likely to throw money at an artist whose politics I admire, though I draw the line at earnest left-wing folksingers.)
