As a tourist it might still be a nice country, and sure there are worse places to live these days (Libya?). But telling you, more than a decade ago it was better than now. Think, actually the best time was in the 90s, shortly after the turnaround. At least if you had a safe job and some money. (Just to point at what they've done with the Eastern new inhabitants.) People just took things less with a pinch of salt and let you live as you wanted to live. Now with 15 years after this decade, you have the impression running into anyone everytime which begrudges what you have and do and he tries to smash it.
