According to the fine folks at Coca Cola, caffeine is not addictive.
The rationale is that since caffeine has been used for ages (like opium), and won't result in withdrawal symptoms if one stops using it gradually (like tobacco), it don't get you hooked.

From that same trustworthy source: boycotting Coke increases strife in the Middle East.
