Oh, I am far from a pacifist and think some conflicts require force to resolve.
The worst is a little while ago Canada was openly discussing an allegiance with Assad against ISIS. It's like no one ever learns lessons. Well, it's not; it's willful stupid geopolitics and the part of the West. We care when we want to, when it's useful for us. And it was not convenient or strategically advantageous to do anything, I guess.
