Well, I think violence against black and brown bodies is far more common, but in those rare cases where it's a white child who's a victim of violence, you typically see a smiling school picture and not a corpse. I remember pictures from Sandy Hook but I don't think they were on the front page the way this one was. Oklahoma City was a different story—there were rubble-covered little bodies on every newspaper, but it was also a different time.
