Whole lotta Ford stupidity

Lots of stupid to go around today. First, the Honourable Wife-Beater's response to conflict-of-interest allegations? "I didn't know and I don't remember." Our mayor, ladies and gentlemen.

Then we've got a quote to sum up his (hopefully brief) career as mayor. When asked if he'd run again even if found guilty in the lawsuit, he responded with yes, and "I’m doing what I’ve always done. I return people’s phone calls."

It's like he's a Left Behind protagonist. It's always about the phone calls. You don't need a vision for the city or the ability to compromise and work well with others, or even basic human decency. Being a good politician is all about being on the phone as much as possible. (Even when you're driving.)

But the Grand Prize for stupidity today actually goes to his niece, Tool of the Patriarchy Krista Ford. In response to a string of sexual assaults in the city, the little dipshit offers this sage advice:

"Stay alert, walk tall, carry mace, take self-defence classes & don’t dress like a whore."
