Reading Wednesday
May. 25th, 2022 07:38 amJust finished: Ajjiit: Dark Dreams of the Ancient Arctic by Rachel Qitsualik-Tinsley and Sean A. Tinsley. This was pretty interesting. Like all short story anthologies, some were better than others, and many of the stories felt unresolved, like they were all atmosphere without tons of substance. That said, the atmosphere was beautifully done and Inuit monsters absolutely slap.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. What do I say about this? It's not as good as Tumblr thinks but I couldn't put it down. If you want extremely Iliad fanfiction you've probably already read it anyway.
Currently reading: I'm starting All Our Relations by Tanya Talaga today, and a [REDACTED] ARC by a friend.
