Maybe there's other terms we can use to some extent, freedom to oppose, freedom to protest, freedom of assembly, organization, of the press, etc. But freedom of speech needs to be in there somewhere.
It's a hugely important concept, of course. Freedom of conscience, maybe?
I have a feeling that we may be hearing rather less from the Alt Reich and similar about freezed peach in the coming years, because it will have served its purpose for them, they will be feeling increasingly less challenged in gaining access to platforms.
That's the thing with them hijacking the term, though. It becomes a weapon to be used against "political correctness," that thing that used to be called "basic human dignity," and used in such a way that it loses its original meaning. Much like freedom itself, or liberty, both words used more by the right to mean their opposite than anything else.
I would also make a poor propagandist in this day and age. Among other things, I can't tweet worth a damn.
