Our last day in Kiev until the end of our trip. Here's a few quick glimpses of things we've seen, as we walked and walked. This is going to be a bunch of tiny pictures 'cause I'm writing from a café before we get on a night train for Lviv.

A lot of the subway stations are very deep. This isn't the deepest one in the world (though we saw that one today); but this is the one closest to us. One of two elevators descending into the depths.

I mentioned the hilariously Soviet vibe of the hotel, did I not?

In the grand tradition of visiting foreign countries and climbing the tall thing, we went up the bell tower of the St. Sophia Cathedral.

There is an amazing street full of sculptures by various artists; through one, I glimpsed my eventual end--eaten by a gigantic cat:

The St. Andreas Cathedral.

Posing with Mikhail Bulgakov. Apparently not worth going into the museum, but the statue is cool.
