Google perks are amazing because, like, you're working 12-hour days, but you get a great sandwich. Instead of working 6-hour days and going home and getting to eat whatever sandwich you want. It's way cheaper for the company to extort labour out of you and give you a sandwich than pay properly and have humane hours.
