I'd laugh, but this is the sort of thing that has tremendous influence over American politics (and publishing -- a panel I attended the other night featured a Harlequin editor who alluded to rapidly changing standards for romance novels). It's as though Aum Shinrikyo suddenly gained political power. It scares me.
