One of my first thoughts was about how there might be a crackdown on campus security. The night before I was researching if there was any student protest about the loan kickbacks. Of course I felt bad for the victims, but it wasn't until today when I had some free time to check out who they were, that it brought tears to my eyes. The day of the attack I found out several hours later and accidentally came upon a story of a Michigan Kindergartner little girl who was accidentally killed by a flag pole, because of the wind, while on recess. In all honesty, initially I was more affected emotionally by that this past Monday.
