Good points. I can't decide how I feel about the way the American media uses American body counts to tally the destruction of the war. It's disturbing how self-centered the American public is and how the number of dead Americans seems exponentially more important than the number of dead Iraqis. And it seems almost treasonous to point out that the two types of casualties should be equally tragic. It just indicates how much effect that arbitrary national boundaries have- to the point where Americans forget that the whole human race is in this together.
