I didn't know that more than a million (Mexican immigrant) American citizens were deported during the 1930s, until I heard a piece on CBC Radio's The Current recently. Unfortunately, the Corp's site isn't very search friendly, so I'm stuck with leaving you with this link. Don't have me if you already know that, "This deportation is estimated to have involved 1-2 million people across the United States, with the majority of individuals involved being American-born..."
