I've seen that "Arapaho National Forest" sign. Or at least one much like it.
Oh, wait... Hermits Peak is in New Mexico (apparently the town shots were in Las Vegas, NM). Hmm, Arapaho National forest in Colorado. Apparently, Hermits Peak is really in the Santa Fe National Forest. But Arapaho gave a better opportunity for mistranslation.
