It really does make me sad, especially since the neocon rhetoric now is all about how we can never understand the Islamocommiefascists, how they worship death and the only way "civilization" is to survive is if we engage in neverending war with the eternal alien Other. Our leaders have the long-term memory potential of a goldfish.
