Seattle is just too hot, but we managed to dodge the worst of it by heading up to Orcas Island, where we're staying in the cutest ever Victorian hotel. It's brutally hot up here too, but there's a lake, so swimming was had. Tomorrow we are going to try to overdose on nature by hiking, whale-watching, and canoeing.
