A friend of mine has proposed that we commemorate Sept 11 by buying copies and giving them to libraries and community centres. I find the idea kind of appealing.

Another suggestion I heard was to commemorate it by sending donations to the flood relief efforts in Pakistan.

I like this idea better, actually. Presumably, the dipshits burning Korans are buying them anyway. Which is something that dipshits who burn books never seem to understand—they are financially contributing to the very thing they oppose.
