1. Okay, now I've seen it all.

A TTC worker wearing a "Ford for Mayor" button.

Dude, do you know what is going to happen to your job if Ford gets elected? Not good things! What is wrong with people? Did Ford's campaign dump something in the water that is making the entire city stupid?

2. Also, does anyone know what happened at St. Clair Station at around 5:30?

3. Anyway, today involved all too much running around (some literal, since they closed St. Clair when I was on my way to an appointment there). Have some A Softer World-style Inception comics. I liked Inception, by the way. It wasn't original by any means, but it was pretty.

4. McGuinty, you have no idea what you're talking about. Have you ever been in a modern classroom for something other than a photo-op? No? Then STFU.

It was a better version of eXistenZ, which I didn't like very much despite the fun concept and generally liking Cronenberg's stuff. So I can't fault it.

i quite liked 'inception,' myself, and think that the whole 'I AIN'T ORIGINAL!!1' mantra that's going around is just, well, stupid and irrelevant.
originality is orthogonal to quality.

Inception is fucking hilarious. I'm not sure what to make of all of these people claiming that it changed their worldview. I hope they're kidding. It's full of well-dressed men and lulz.

It was a hell of a mindfuck, that's for sure, but I'm not sure it changed my view of anything other than suits.

That post is very useful since in the comic most of the major characters (male and female) wear suits. Also it is useful for reasons I won't say because my mom reads my public entries.

Damn. I'm so much not a suit person that I bought a suit four years ago and I've worn it twice since, yet I'm still drooling over that post. Perhaps if I wore a suit everywhere my life would be even more fantastically awesome than I imagine it already is. (Alternatively, evening dress. But you can't wear that everywhere, more's the pity.)

Did you read my status update about this? I saw Inception with Heather Saturday at the drive-in, and it was pissing rain the whole time and I was struggling really hard to stay awake. My eyes were open 95% of it but I was in a semi-dream state and everything was being seen with the windshield wipers removing the torrential running water every 45 seconds. THAT changed my worldview.

Anyway, I read that McGuinty thing and instantly thought of you. I knew you'd love it :)

Seriously, though, there are people who claim that The Fucking Matrix* and Avatar changed their world view, so, you know, some people out there really need their worlds to be changed.

Bah, nothing's original. Those A Softer Inception comics are funny aside from the distracting Tom Hardy/JGL shipping. I never find shipping jokes very funny though. "I did pack these lunches for bank robbers only" was gold.
