Would you like a cute cat picture?

So I haven't posted about this until now because it was not 100% certain*, but there is a new cat in our household.

Meet Musetta:



zingerella picked her up from a Toronto Cat Rescue Adopt-a-thon last Saturday, and—well, I'm not even going to go into the whole story. You can read it on zingerella's LJ. The point is: How cute is this cat? Like, lethally high levels of cute, right? She totally bosses Marinetti around—she has had seven kittens and is Not To Be Fucked With—and is nearly as cuddly. If you so much as put a hand near her, she will start purring and headbutting you uncontrollably.

So that is pretty awesome.

* If she and Marinetti totally hated each other, she was going to go down the hill to live with captainmushroom. But it turns out that the two kitties are getting along surprisingly well, so she's staying here.

So far, she has not unsheathed her claws once. And she has submitted to a great deal of cuddling, and demanded even more. She is currently lying on a blanket on my computer desk, beside me demanding that I stop tappy-tappying on the box-thing and give her more scritchins.
