I really like to believe that the person who came up with that name did so after a few drinks and a bet, and that they're as surprised as everyone else is that it somehow got past the surprisingly small or surprisingly asinine number of people who approve things like that.

Or maybe it was suggested by a young but funny intern during a boring meeting. It was only a joke, but it was hard to explain that after everyone else in the room started discussing it enthusiastically.
