Gravydämmerung: They found the video guy!

One of the men who tried to sell the Rob Ford crack video was arrested as part of the Project Traveller raids in north Etobicoke.

I suspect that Toronto's finest actually knew that he was the video guy and I also have suspicions around him being attacked and stabbed while in jail. I think now that his name is out, however, there's a better chance of him staying alive long enough for us to find out more.

Warren Kinsella, who is not the world's most reliable source or even close to it, is claiming that lawyers for the Crown and Siad have the video. Take this with a grain of salt but it's not beyond the realm of possibility.

Its weird though, yeah, you figure theyre out to get him.

But on the other hand, he's a black crack dealer. In jail. There are probably tons of reasons he could get stabbed.

(Which is something the Ford people count on if they planned something, im sure.)

Yes and no. I know too many people that are in and out of Toronto jails and the guards will just walk away and let inmates be stabbed/assaulted/etc.... mostly over the drug scams they're running and the inmate not cooperating, though. I'm not sure how guards feel about Rob Ford, though.

I didn't know much about Kinsella previously, but my opinion of his credibility was pretty much formed by his response to someone asking him how he knew the things he claimed in that post: "That’s for me to know, etc. If you dispute it, sue me."

Not giving him a lot of credence unless and until this is confirmed by someone a little more willing to state the sources of their information, or at least less defensive about it.

I guess the author is going with "background" but the juxtaposition of these two lines seems odd: "Siad is an alleged member of the Dixon City Bloods street gang. He was married recently."

I'm not even really sure why his marital status is relevant, but this is making it sound like he married another gang member.
