I've been bad. For the past two weeks we have been open reduced hours and I have been working 9-5, which means I have more opportunities to eat. Moreover the pool is closed, so I am looking for another exercise outlet. All my good habits were locked into this rhythm of living which was abruptly interrupted when the semester ended. Now everything is back to normal except for the pool being open.

I was just alerted to the fact that we will just miss Ms. Erin McKeown while we are in Chicago. She will be performing on Friday the first (Canada Day)- the day after we leave. (We are staying Thursday to Thursday, right?) However, she will be preforming in Toronto July 6th at a location to be announced.

I like her stuff. It's sort of alt-folk meets old-timey 1920s music. Unfortunately, they are currently updating her website, so there is not much to see there except tour dates. Amazon has samples of both Distillation and Monday Morning Cold. Give them a listen.
